Skills
The Pi Shurlok team offers you a unique blend of science and engineering skills related to vehicle electronics. We have experts in electrical engineering (hardware design), physics (vehicle dynamics, electro-magnetic wave emissions, magnetic circuit modelling), chemistry (battery chemistry and exhaust gas emissions) and computer science (system architecture and software development).

Experience
We have over 25 years experience of working on all aspects of electronic control for vehicles. Building on our initial motorsport expertise we have expanded to work in most vehicle market sectors including passenger car, commercial, hybrid, specialist, off-road, and military, with some marine and aerospace applications. More recently we have expanded into advanced technology infotainment and instrumentation systems.

OpenECU™ Rapid prototyping
Pi Shurlok has developed a family of production ready electronic control units (ECUs) and supporting system level software development tools. These products are branded OpenECU and are manufactured in our own automotive quality factory. Using OpenECU significantly reduces the time and cost on projects to create rugged prototypes or projects to move from prototype to volume production.

Style
We offer a range of engagement models to match the skills and expertise of your in-house resources. We can work independently to deliver complete systems or provide specialist skills to complement existing project teams. Our engineers can train your engineers while working alongside them to ensure transfer of knowledge for the future.
