Pi Shurlok offers comprehensive electronics manufacturing capabilities from our plant in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. The factory also has Plastic Injection Molding and Dial Printing facilities.
The factory meets all OEM automotive quality standards and has full environmental and EMC test capabilities.
We have achieved and maintained several quality standards which has enabled us to become a major Tier One supplier of electronic systems to OEMs such as BMW, Mercedes Benz, Toyota, VW, Renault and Ford.
Technology and partnership agreements with other major international Tier One suppliers means we also manufacture for Siemens VDO, Continental, Alpine, Lear, Yazaki, Valeo, Eaton, MAN, Hummel, Stanadyne and Nissan.
Design for manufacture
Pi Shurlok can offer a complete product design and manufacture service using our own engineering services teams that have over 25 years experience of working on all aspects of electronic control for vehicles.
OpenECU - Production ready electronic control systems
Pi Shurlok has developed a family of production ready electronic control units (ECUs) and supporting system level software development tools. Building on proven OpenECU technology significantly reduces the time and cost of getting new products into volume production.
