Job Description
You will work as part of a multi disciplined team focusing on current customer powertrain project in North America. This position would be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle including but not limited to requirements gathering and testing.
Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the job include:
- Gather and document requirements for software changes from the customer
- Undertake software development for embedded powertrain projects
- Write appropriate test plans
- Be responsible for various levels of testing
- Develop and refine existing designs
Required Skills
The following skills are considered essential:
- Experience in an embedded software environment
- Matlab, C Software implementation skills
- Appreciation of good requirement capture & system specification
Advantageous Skills
The following skills would be an advantage for this position:
- Working knowledge of HIL testing
- Working low level knowledge of microprocessors
- Working knowledge of Simulink and Autocoding
- Knowledge/Experience of automotive software environment and/or diesel engines
- Knowledge of UDS communication
- Experience of working with automotive quality systems such as AutomotiveSPICE or ISO9001)
